“Our Basic Nature” is a new opera for baritone and REDSHIFT by composer John Glover, telling the moving story of Lucy, the chimpanzee who grew up with a human family. This story was recently featured on WNYC radio’s Radiolab, and This American Life. The performance will be presented by American Opera Projects on December 10, 2010 at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, NY.
